  • Demonstrate principled leadership, sound business ethics and consistency amongst principles, values and behaviors as outlined in Cargill's Leadership Model and Guiding Principles.
  • Ensure internal control systems that provide effective and efficient operations; reliable financial reporting; and compliance with laws, regulations and corporate policies and minimums.
  • Collaborate and engage effectively with respective corporate centers of expertise on fiduciary matters, Governance Risk and Controls (TGRC), Platform and Corporate IT Teams, Technology, etc.
  • Lead the development and implementation of key financial policies and procedures. This includes communicating these policies and ensuring a solid operation control system is in place.
  • Responsible for corporate budgeting and monitoring including control of expenses
  • Provide local financial and fiduciary leadership to ensure finance teams are in compliance with the Value Preservation Minimums
  • Provide leadership and broad direction to ensure records are maintained in accordance with business and corporate policies and internal and external requirements
  • In charge of banking in relations with Cargill Treasury department and Regional Financial Controller; ensure efficient and effective Working Capital Management; manage foreign currency risk and country related risks.
  • In charge of legal affairs in relation with our lawyers and auditorsBusiness Partnership\:
  • Work closely with the Regional Financial Controller and the local management Leadership Team in leading the business to achieve the objectives and targets in the annual business plan; create a compelling vision for finance within the business, and communicate that vision with relevant parties; act as an effective spokesperson across the BU and the function, working to optimize connectivity both within the platform and the function globally.
  • Hold self and others accountable for continuous improvement and delivering results; implement systems to provide accurate, consistent and timely management information for business decisions.
  • Provide guidance and leadership in managing risks, in particular those inherent to a trading and manufacturing business.
  • Proactively engage and align the team with functions, BU's and COE's to address customer focused and innovation based business objectives.
  • Oversee relationships with production, sales, supply chain and other managers to ensure compliance with our contracts and rebates, and ensure strategies are accomplished.
  • Communicate BU strategies and policies to the finance team and ensure the team moves in congruence with the business unit and corporate strategy.
  • Support the BU on potential new business activity and issues resolution. This includes support to acquisitions, greenfield expansion, business transactions, tax and customs issues and monitoring of any new greenfield and / or acquired business.
  • In charge of costing, transfer pricing within BU and other related parties, profitability calculations and results forecasting.
  • In charge of developing tight operational controls (plant, yield, material flows reconciliations, shrink, bean and finished goods inventory and spare parts inventory etc.)
  • Supporting business through creative financial solutions.
  • Support the IT function from BU perspective.Talent Management/ Development\:
  • Demonstrate strong accountability for and leadership of the finance team, including people development, coaching and retention. Work proactively to create and sustain engaged teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Financial Controller to develop and retain identified Talent to support effective succession planning.
  • Contribute to the BU’s future growth objectives, ensuring there are right skills and capabilities within the Finance team. Open to candidates in the region who are willing to relocate to Indonesia on local termsKnowledge of Cargill's financial risk management processes.Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to internal control and ability to enforce Cargill ethical standards.Demonstrated knowledge and technical proficiency in financial and accounting areas as well as management experience.Demonstrated success in developing people and leading teams to positive business outcomes.
