We are currently recruiting for a Centre Manager to work within our English Centre in Medan. Please review the full role profile below for further information. Please note, this role does not offer a relocation package.

Purpose of job:

To lead Yayasan Dewan InggrisIndonesia’s English language training business in Medan, North Sumatra and thecore functions of finance, sales, marketing and HR.

To position Yayasan DewanInggris Indonesia as the “go to” for English services in North Sumatraincluding direct teaching to children and teacher training, exams (IELTS andAptis) with support from Senior Managers based in Jakarta.

The post-holder will work closelywith an Academic Manager, who is responsible for product development andservice delivery.

Context and environment:

The East Asia Region is of vitalimportance to the British Council in terms of both impact and income. Over thenext three to five years we plan to increase turnover and surplus generation inIndonesia through Yayasan Dewan Inggris Indonesia phasing in English Centresover 5 years in Medan, Jakarta and Surabaya.
